Information collected at registration
Take12 collects personal information when you register with us and when you use Take12's services. Take12 may combine this information about you with information we obtain from business partners or other third parties. During registration, we require members to give us basic contact information (such as your first name, last name, and e-mail address), and demographic information (such as your ZIP or postal code). The information requested on the registration form may change from time to time. Although additional demographic information may be requested at the time of registration, only information marked "required" is necessary for registration and utilization of our services.
Users who give gifts, payments, or donations to Take12 members may not be required to register. However, some information is collected during the process. This information is associated with the member's account. The e-mail information collected during the process are not shared with third parties. It is used by Take12 and Site members to communicate with the gift giver regarding their gift. For example, the member might want to know who to thank for the gift, donation, or payment.
Information collected through use of Take12
In addition to the questions you answer when you register for Take12 membership, we collect information necessary to create your registry. When you enter this information and publish your registry, you agree to make it public and accessible by visitors to Take12.
Take12 may also collect system information such as IP addresses for system administration, troubleshooting, security, and to examine overall traffic trends. This information, in aggregate form, may be recorded for administrative purposes. IP addresses may be linked to personal account information for security purposes, for instance, to prevent spammers from abusing Take12's e-mail features.
This Site may use Google Analytics. Aggregate information including but not limited to user traffic, site usage, demographics and interests is collected by a Google Analytics cookie and reported to us. You can opt-out of the Google Analytics Demographics and Interest on Google Analytics' opt-outs page .
You can browse the Site without registering or providing any personal information. However, in order to utilize our Time Registry™ service, you are required to provide us with information such as your name, e-mail address, and/or mailing address.
What we do with the information we collect
Information we collect from your membership helps us to make your registry available to your guests, improve our content, customize certain pages for you, make third-party payment systems available to you, and provide you with promotional information and updates about Take12 and it's affiliates.
With whom do we share information
For more information about the sharing of non-personally identifiable information (non-PII) see "Advertisers and Take12" below.
What is public
When you register, the information you provide to us will be used on the Site and will be public information. Additionally, if you add any information to your registry after you register, that information will also become public. If you comment or add material as a guest to the Site, that information will become public. If you don't want information to become public, do not add it to your registry, do not provide that information to us when you register, and do not add that information or material as a guest to the Site.
We may give the registrant the option of making their registry harder to find through a common search. However, your registry and all contents on your registry will be pubic information and could be accessed by anyone.

Under certain circumstances, the government or third parties may lawfully or unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications.
